Green Goddess Guide: Celeb Makeup Artist Fiona Stiles’s Top Travel Finds

There’s a lot happening out there in the beauty world, as always! Every so often, we run across something that feels new, fun and possibly life-changing. That’s how we felt coming across celeb makeup artist Fiona Stiles’ shop, Reed Clarke. Nearly everything is natural and the curation is relatively small: Every single product is hand-picked by Fiona from her extensive travels and pro beauty experiences.

We need these lashes and are drooling over all the cute and girly containers Fiona’s favorite picks all seem to come in. Here is Ms. Stiles with her answers to our Green Goddess Guide!

Can’t travel without…

Ponaris Nasal Emollient and HollyBeth Organics Rose Geranium moisturizer. Ponaris keeps your nasal passages moisturized when you fly. Flying dries you out and then viruses can enter little fissures in your nasal cavities. Polaris is my savior on airplanes. The HollyBeth moisturizer is like a soft, solid face oil. I slather it on multiple times on the flight, rubbing the excess into my hands and cuticles. I blow through jars of this stuff, it’s amazing.

Always in my evening clutch:

Lip balm. Lip balm. Lip balm. I love the one from In Fiore and also the Lavender Mint lip balm from the Honest Company.

Beautifying snack/meal:

I eat copious amounts of kale and broccoli. I just can’t get enough.

For ultra-glamorous effect:

I like to line the insides of the eye with a taupe eyeliner. It’s much softer than black or brown and it gives the eyes a sexy shape without closing them up like darker colors can do.

The product that changed my skin…

Goldfaden Needle-Less. It refines pores and softens fine lines but without the toxic ingredient deck of other brands.

Perfect pout:

Armour lipgloss in Diana. It’s a warm nude that looks good on so many different skin tones.

Beauty tool:

Weirdest beauty habit:

I don’t know if this falls under a beauty habit but I drink hot water all day long. No lemon, no honey, just hot water. I love tea but don’t want to drink caffeine all day so to appease the craving for drinking something warm, I drink hot water. It’s a good way to stay hydrated. Weird, but it works for me.

In a pinch I…

Count to ten and try to calm my body down. Stress is a killer so I try to keep calm and get through the day without raising my heart rate unnecessarily.

In the shower I keep…

Goldfaden Doctor’s Scrub, the best face scrub you’ll ever use; Goldfaden Pure Start face wash; one of those long Japanese scrubbing towels which really get the skin tingling; and soap from a small company in Marfa, Texas that I love. Campfire is the one currently in rotation and it has lapsang souchong tea in it and it smells incredible.

Obsession of the moment:

Pencils. I found this charming store in NYC called CW Enterprises and all they carry are pencils. I even joined their pencil of the month club.

On my bedside table…

Lip balm. Lots of it. And the last two jars of McBride’s Rescue in a Jar, which was the greatest hand/foot cream ever made. Sadly the company no longer exists.

Once a month I…

Try to get a massage but it almost never works out.

After a long-night or rough weekend…

Wear a hat. Nothing distracts like a cute hat.

On little sleep I rely on…

Luminizer and blush. They can do wonders. Oh, and black tea.

Most treasured beauty tip…

Wear SPF. It’s a tip that works for all skin types and all ages.

For glowing skin…

I add a touch of highlighter on the tips of cheekbones and the bridge of the nose. I also love the W3ll People Narrcisist foundation. It’s gently luminous, which I love.

My go-to DIY recipe or smoothie recipe:

I don’t really like making smoothies because I can’t stand cleaning the blender. But I make a mean almond butter cookie that I got from Gwyneth Paltrow’s It’s All Good cookbook.
